DC Universe’s newest ‘power couple’ will be featured in a monthly series starting in October. The series, by Swamp Thing writer Charles Soule, will feature the art of Action Comic‘s Tony Daniel. The series with the creative title Superman/Wonder Woman and will focus on their growing relationship.
As filming for Captain America: The Winter Soldier wrapped up in Cleveland, pictures of the new costume, previously only seen as concept art, are hitting the Internet. The look is a little darker and a little more stealthy than the outfit used in the first film and The Avengers where he sported more ‘patriotic’ garb. It seems entertainment news recently has been all about the release of Man of Steel – who liked it, who didn’t like it – what was done ‘wrong’, what was done ‘right’ – and of course, how much MONEY is it raking in?? Clearing $113 million opening weekend gave the film a solid start – love it or hate it – it is going to make money. As a result, the Zack Snyder sequel is now being fast tracked for a 2014 release. Now, of course, there are rumors aplenty about a Justice League movie… Who? What? When?
Who? Current rumors are the cast of characters may include: Supermen (with Zack Snyder consulting), Batman (although rumor is Christian Bale will NOT be playing the role), Wonder Woman (be still my heart), Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter. The script is reportedly being penned by Will Beall whose credits include Gangster Squad and the ABC series Castle. What? Well, we shall see…. When? The Wall Street Journal is reporting a potential 2015 release date. Stay posted, kids…

Earlier it was reported that James Robinson was abruptly leaving the DC52 title Earth 2 after issue 16. Now DC has announced the writer taking over Tom Taylor who has been the writer on the digital comic Injustice based on the video game Injustice: Gods Among Us starring many popular DC characters.
